Founded in the heart of West Ashley, SC, Ashley River Soccer Club is a youth soccer organization dedicated to developing well-rounded players both on and off the field.

We proudly serve the local community by providing a safe, supportive, and competitive environment where children of all ages and skill levels can learn, grow, and thrive through the game of soccer.

Why We're Different

1

Community

  • We believe in and support the City's recreational soccer program as an amazing way to kindle a love of the game.

  • We want West Ashley soccer players to stay here, developing from Rec to Club to High School.

  • We practice and play where we live!  Let's eliminate crazy soccer commutes.

2

Accessibility

  • Soccer is often described as the most accessible sport.  We keep it that way!

  • Club travel soccer should be affordable, regardless of income.

  • Parents work, kids have lives, so we keep the practices local and the travel reasonable.

3

Governance

  • ARSC is built to last, with an experienced board of directors and a professional coaching staff.

  • We are a 501c3 that operates transparently with accountability and communication as our core values.

Our Core Values

A

Accountability

In soccer, accountability means showing up on time, giving your best effort, and owning your actions—win or lose. Youth players learn to be responsible teammates by committing to practices, supporting each other, and acknowledging both their successes and mistakes as opportunities to grow.

R

Resilience

Resilience is what keeps players going when the game gets tough. Whether it's bouncing back from a tough loss, pushing through a challenging drill, or staying focused after a mistake, youth sports teach kids to persevere, adapt, and keep striving for improvement no matter the obstacles.

S

Sportsmanship

Good sportsmanship is the foundation of a positive soccer experience. Players learn to respect referees, opponents, coaches, and teammates, regardless of the score. Celebrating with humility, losing with grace, and playing fair are all values that extend beyond the field and into everyday life.

C

Character

Soccer builds character by challenging kids to act with integrity, honesty, and compassion. From leading by example to standing up for others, the game helps young athletes develop into confident individuals who contribute positively to their team and community.
